Bellbird Lodge at Kaiteriteri was named B&B
A Kaiteriteri Bed and Breakfast has been named New Zealand's supreme B&B business.
Bellbird Lodge, owned by Anthea and Brian Harvey, was named Supreme Bed and Breakfast in a competition run by its sector.
The Bed & Breakfast Association Award programme celebrates excellence in hospitality in the bed and breakfast and hosted accommodation sector.
The Harveys said the secret to their win was that they cared about their guests.

President Rayma Jenkins said "the awards honour, recognise, encourage and reward our members who are the very best bed and breakfast properties in New Zealand".
The Bed & Breakfast Association Award programme is made up of three Awards the supreme award, the Emerging B&B Business of the year which went to Acacia Heights in Taupo and the and B&B Host of the year which went to Morepork Riverside Lodge in Pahia.
