Twenty One Pilots' drummer Josh Dun has chosen a Kiwi treehouse as the setting for his proposal to long-term girlfriend Debby Ryan.
The pair announced their engagement via social media at the weekend, sharing images of the 30-year-old Dun going down on one knee in front of the shocked Insatiable actress.

He described his new fiancee as his "dude for life", while Ryan added that she "technically said 'no way' twice, but I meant yes".
While the exact location of the treehouse has been kept under wraps so far, Dun and Ryan were in the country because he was performing in a Pilots' concert at Auckland's Spark Arena on Friday night.

In August, The Sydney Morning Herald, in an interview with Ryan, described the pair's relationship, which began in 2013, as on-again, off-again.

"I'm in love and very happy," she said. "We've evolved and grown so much in our careers, in the relationship, as people since we first met. It's cool and special to have that support system and we are each other's biggest fans.
"He visited me every month in Atlanta with our puppy while I was making the show."
