Kiwi Riverdale star KJ Apa has revealed he has never had a girlfriend.
Apa, 20, plays all-American teen Archie Andrews in the hit CW show, which screens on Netflix in New Zealand.
But unlike his Riverdale character, who courted several ladies in season one, Apa has always flown solo - at least, that's what he told Cosmopolitan.

Actor KJ Apa isn't quite comfortable with his new-found stardom.
"I think I'm just waiting for the right time, right girl," he said. "I'm pretty busy at the moment. I don't know how much I have to offer to someone right now."
Auckland-born Apa also spoke about the difficulties he had when he filmed his first overseas role.

Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, KJ Apa as Archie and Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper in Riverdale.
He was just 18 when he flew to Canada to star in A Dog's Purpose, and came down with a bad case of the homesickness blues.
He cried every night for the first three weeks and listened to Ricky Gervais podcasts to cheer himself up.
"I was just lonely," he said. "That made me realise we as humans need other humans. You can't really do things alone. I don't think it's that healthy."
He had similar difficulties adjusting to life on Riverdale. He'd spend his evening alone learning lines, which made his cast mates think he didn't like them.
"I was fresh out of New Zealand, no one understood what I was saying, and they were hanging out all the time," he said.
"They thought that I didn't like them. We laugh about it now, but I really was in my own zone."
Apa now has his 22-year-old sister, a writer, living with him to keep him company. But he's still not quite comfortable with his status as an actor.
He told Cosmopolitan he felt like an impostor. "I'm still waiting for someone to call me out [for acting]," he said.
If acting didn't work out for Apa, who got his break on Shortland Street, he reckons he'd "either be playing rugby or just gigging at bars in New Zealand," he says. "Which I'd be happy to do."
